Was looking at Ace handsets but ultimately let down by the price point for foreign countries & double shipping costs for multiple products. Which leads me to my 5/5 star review below of the premium Glock Handset from k3design.
Stumbled upon his webpage when looking for VR realistic handsets, and reading other reviews prior to purchasing knew I was in the right spot.
I actually emailed Kris (owner) before I purchased about a holster & some other things, his response came through very quickly at 5am (Kris must be up early)!
His communication was great, product shipped the same day & delivery was good, no issues with customs as it’s all labelled and correct packaging done by kris would no doubt make customs a breeze.
Product / G17 - weight - very realistic. Premium quality and every button / function works smoothly, I’ve dropped the slider for the controller onto my foot twice and can confirm it hurts! (It’s weighted)! I’ve had the pleasure of seeing ace handsets / products and in my opinion think K3 designed premium handset is far better.
Out of the box it is good to go with the meta quest 3 & has clear instructions for anything you require.
He ships with orange front bullet cover & magazine cover which can be removed if you don’t like, you can also customize your own weapon in whatever colors you like.
Custom trigger weights/pull is a great feature as well. (Easy to do with instructions)
Looking forward to future products by k3 / kris !

Got my Glock 17 today as a rebuild for left handed persons, fits in my original Ghost Speedholster Like the original glock17, tested it with ACE VR and it works without problems and without ACE FCU. Trigger pull weight is adjustable. If the aimpoint ingame in ACE is a little bit too high, just Insert the Controller again in the handset or try to move it in the right way in the handset, then it works perfectly! Contact K3D for questions, very helpful and friendly.
Takes some time to figure out the trigger weight adjustment but worth messing with. Still not clear on the xyz settings but I’m not tech savvy so it’s definitely on me.
